The book in three sentences:

Making millions is not going to be easy, but having a clear start to the day will provide guidance to your day. The secret sauce to making millions is to do Life SAVERS, have a vision, goals, and focus on your health. It all starts with how you begin your day though.

Three ideas from the book:

Idea 1:

Life SAVERS:

Life SAVERS is the part that Hal performs each morning for a start to his productive day. It has helped CEO’s, high school students, college students, and entrepreneurs.
S-Silence. This is where you meditate and breathe in and out. You do this for five minutes. Your mind might scatter a bit, but this is usual. After a while of practicing and closing the mind off, you will start to have fewer thoughts running through your brain.
A — Affirmation. This is where you give affirmations to yourself. This will provide confidence and inspire you to keep going. Mine is this: I am the best. I am confident. I am driven. I am a good boyfriend. I repeat this three times and move to the next step.
V-Visualization. You visualize the success you will have for the day and what you want will come out of the day. I tend to think of the day as well as the future in 1 year and in 5 years.
E-Exercise: This is where you exercise. Do what you want to do, but I encourage lifting, bodyweight exercises like pull-ups, and yoga. All are great for the body, bones, and preventing diseases.
R-Read. Read at least 20 minutes and try to get 10 pages done. If you read just 10 pages of a self-development book every day, you will be able to read 3,650 pages per year. This is 18 200 page books every year! That’s crazy!
S-Scribe. This is where you journal for the morning. You can write whatever you feel like. There are so many journals out there, but find one that works for you. The point is to provide direction and purpose in your day and writing helps with that. The other thing is that you can reread your journal and see how much you did for the year.

Idea 2:

Energy engineering:

Sleep:

You got to take care of yourself. Sleep the recommended amount of 7–8 hours. I recommend sleeping with no alarm, due to the fact you are forcing your body to wake up with a sudden loud noise. You don’t want to wake up in flight or fight mode. You want to wake up in a calming matter.

Exercise:

Find what you like. If you like walking, take a walk. Do physical exercise each day whether that be walking, yoga, strength training, bodyweight, running, cycling, swimming, kayaking, etc.

Eating Healthier:

The millionaires have unbelievable focus. The way to hone into this focus is to eat healthier foods. Foods that do not make you fall asleep after consuming them. You want as much energy you can get, and the best way is to have foods that give you the energy without the crash like vegetables, fruit, beans, and tea. Analyze what foods make you energized and what foods do not. This is the best way to figure out what foods get you energized.

Idea 3:

Your mindset:

The millionaire mindset is what makes millionaires. I would also argue the knowledge about money and how to save it will also help shape your millionaire mindset. The way David mentions millionaires is that their mindset is wired to making money.

The first step is whether you want to choose on making a lot of money. “In my experience with millionaires, the first difference between them and everyone else is actively chosen to be wealthy. That’s the first step in bridging the gap between your current financial reality and the one you imagine: to choose” (pg. 59). It does not mean wanting to be a millionaire because wanting does not result in any action. Choosing results in action and deciding on how to make this money (pg. 60).

If you choose to be a millionaire, the next step is visioning yourself as a millionaire. You got to take your step out of the box and vision yourself how you accumulated the wealth, where you now, what you're doing, and how you are your progressing forward in your life. What would you tell your non-millionaire self right now?

After that, it comes down to goals. In one year, what are you doing step by step to get to your bigger goal? What are your action steps to your goal of accumulating wealth? This can be monetizing a blog, trying real estate, investing in stocks, or learning about wealth. What are you doing each week to get to the level of your one-year goal?

My review in three sentences:

A totally different millionaire mindset. The book is not a way to make millions, but the initial step and mindset to do it. I highly recommend to anyone who is choosing to become a millionaire and curious about the millionaire mindset.

Three actions to do right now:

  1. Visualize the day you are a millionaire
  • What are you doing?
  • How did you get there?
  • Anything you would mention to your non-millionaire self?
  • Anything is possible, so imagine it. Don’t tell yourself it could not come true and there is no possible way. With that mindset, there will not be away. Just imagine the life you have as in the present day.

2. Choose to be a millionaire

  • If you do not want to be, then what do you want to do?
  • I want to become financially free, so that is my goal. I do not necessarily want to be a millionaire, instead, I am choosing to be one.

3. Do the Life SAVERS morning routine tomorrow morning

  • Do it for the next 30 days
  • Look at the Miracle Morning book review for more information on the miracle morning

What do you think of the book?

I would love to read your comments about the book. What did you like? What did you not like? How did it help you?

Also, did you do the three actions above? Write down below how you visualized the day as a millionaire, if you choose to be a millionaire, and if you did the miracle morning. I want to help you grow and the best way is accountability. The way to do that is to provide your thoughts and your actions with me and everyone else who reads this post because you will be more likely to implement it in your life. You got this! Good luck.
