It Ends With Us Movie Is Pushed Forward Again
The movie based on the bestselling book by Colleen Hoover is coming out in August. This book is a romance between Lily and Ryle that ends up badly. At the end, Lily leaves this relationship and says to her kid ‘It Ends With Us’. A lot of people don’t like this book because it has an abusive relationship and it wasn’t portrayed correctly. Honestly, I don’t think so. Hoover did a great job in portraying the abuse without glamorizing it and having Lily get help after.
Don’t be confused because there’s a second book in this series called It Starts With Us. This isn’t the first book. This book goes over another relationship Lily has, and she’s recovering from her abusive relationship with Ryle.
Back to the movie talk: The movie was slated for June 21st. However, the team and the company pushed it a couple months ahead due to the amount of movies coming out in June. They thought it would make a bigger splash in August.
It was already pushed ahead due to the directors cut. The first date it was supposed to be released was February 14th. Now, they’re pushing it further ahead until August 9th.
I was curious what was going on because a trailer hasn’t dropped yet. If the movie was going to come out, the trailer should drop this month.
Honestly, I was excited for a June release. Now, I have to wait two more months! I can’t do that.
I enjoyed both of the books, and I’m curious on how the directors and Hoover will portray the movie. I’ve only had three times where the movie is better. Could this movie make the list?
