Fourth Wing Christmas Edition Is Already OOS

Let the hunt begin. Can you find the red book?

This special edition that Red Towers is stating is a Christmas edition. The book has a dark, crimson red cover that gets darker at the bottom of the cover to match the black sprayed edge. It’s a great design.

Hype is real. Fourth Wing was Rebecca Yarroses debut sci-fi book. I thought she wrote it well. To be honest, it was written a little better than Sarah J. Maas whose another big sci-fi writer. The reason is because of the emphasis on the dragons. I love dragons, and Fourth Wing was all about dragons.

Because of the announcement of the book releasing a couple weeks ago, the publisher only made a certain number of copies — about 100k.

I thought the book would sell out in a week once it was released. I was wrong. The pre-orders have already sold out, and it doesn’t release until tomorrow! That’s insane.

So if you want your copy, some bookstores will have it on their shelf like Books-A-Million, Barnes and Noble, and some independent bookstores. Other retailers like Target and Walmart might have them on the shelf as well.

The problem is that those places will only have a certain amount. What you see on the shelf is what that particular store has on hand. They won’t get any more. If you see it in the wild, you better grab it. Because the copies on hand at stores will sell out on the first day.

Many of the bookstores nationwide have midnight release parties, so getting that special edition is going to be very difficult.

In other words, you better get it quickly or you won’t get a copy. A safe bet is to attend a midnight release party and get your copy. Or if that particular store doesn’t have a midnight release party, get to that store when the store opens on Tuesday to get your copy.

This is what I’ll have to do. I didn’t pre-order Fourth Wing special edition because I knew it would be an issue with shipping. I would rather have the book in my hand on Nov. 7th. I thought we’ll have a chance. Seems the odds are even harder to find one of these books.

One more day until Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros comes out. I’m excited. I can’t wait. Finding this special edition is going to be fun.
